Students from Scarborough Sixth Form College helped out at the launch of this year's big fundraising event.
Race for Life is one of the town's biggest fundraising events and last year 1,500 women took part.
This year, the 5k race, which women walk, jog or run, takes place on Sunday July 18 at 11am at Oliver's Mount.
Organisers handed out information about the event to shoppers in the Brunswick Centre, with help from the 6th form students, and shop staff.
