A PACKED audience filled the Futurist for the latest show from kids' TV double act, The Chuckle Brothers.
The queue for Indiana Chuckles and the Kingdom of the Mythical Sulk stretched along Foreshore Road as excited youngsters eagerly awaited Saturday's show.

Paul Elliott, who with brother Barry make up the comedy act, said: "It's good to be in Scarborough. As usual there will be lots of fun and mayhem. We are looking for the a casket with the secrets of the world in it. I open it which is something I shouldn't do.
"We've been in Scarborough since 1988 when we were at the Corner with Rod Hull."

Futurist boss, Barrie Stead, said the Chuckle Brothers usually used Scarborough to rehearse their shows because it was usually the venue where the show opened.

He said: "It's like a home from home for them. It's always nice to have them back. It's a family show and it's good to get families into the theatre because the kids will come back and it starts them on the road to enjoying the theatre. This is like a summer season that has started early."

Madison Bright, seven, travelled all the way from Wakefield to see the show. She said: "They are funny because they always say 'to me, to you'. They are very silly."

Eight-year-old Jenny Scott, from Prospect Road, who has been a fan since she was two-years-old, said: "They say some really funny jokes and they get their lines wrong. I hope this will be the best one."
Robbie Hill, six, from Moorland Road in Scarborough, said: "They are mint because they say silly things."
