WHAM impersonators and lifestyle advice bring a season of alternative theatre to a close over the next week, at Hull University's Scarborough campus.
Two men pretend to be George Michael and Andrew Ridgely in the Club Tropicana video, in a touring show tonight, starting at 7.30pm.
Reckless Sleepers marks 20 years of making and devising cutting-edge contemporary performance by going back to the beginning, says Jo Beddoe, of the campus.
The season, On the Edge, concludes next Wednesday with How to Live by Bobby Baker, starting at 8pm.
Big questions call for big answers. After years of research, Baker is ready to give us the answer to the biggest question of all: how to live?
Launching her unique new Therapy Empire, Baker offers a set of life-changing techniques in a show guaranteed to effect results in ordered and disordered minds alike.
Using state of the art technology and remarkable special effects, the launch will feature a live demonstration of the efficacy of the treatment as Baker holds an 'open session' with one of her many patients – a frozen pea – which has been diagnosed with a personality disorder.
Watch the pea unfreeze as it learns new skills to cope with its problems and develop a life worth living.
Jo says Baker is a remarkable and influential female performance artist who has inspired a whole generation of performance makers and audiences.
