ILLUSIONIST Dr Bondini and the Ladies of Mystery are dusting off their magic carpet and travelling to Whitby Pavilion on Saturday.
The Fabulous Magic of Dr Bondini is a "magical illusion show with song, dance, spectacular fire and water effects and Bondini's trademark beautiful doves", says a promoter.

"You will be transported to ancient Egypt, with sumptuous sets and costumes, and you will marvel at the temple maidens and the Orb of Ra," the promoter says. "You will visit India for the legend of Sabu and other mysteries; and you will travel to China for colourful magic of the Orient. Further mystery and suspense is presented in an operating theatre where a body transplant takes place."

Dr Bondini says: "You can enjoy my magic whatever age you are. I try to rekindle the childhood dreams which linger in all of us, dreams which are all too easily forgotten as we grow older and succumb to the pressures of modern life."
