Tickets selling fast for Yorkshire clash

TICKETS for the highly anticipated Clydesdale Bank 40 semi-final between Yorkshire Carnegie and Warwickshire Bears on Saturday are selling fast.

There have been a number of tickets on sale at North Marine Road and they have almost sold out and the club have requested more from Headingley.

There is expected to be a late surge for tickets for the biggest game at North Marine Road for many years after the news broke that the game won't be beamed out live on SKY.

There will be a studio with regular highlights and updates but the game won't be shown ball-by-ball.

Scarborough Cricket Club chairman Bill Mustoe is expecting a sell-out crowd for the hugely anticipated clash.

He said: "Tickets are flying out. I think they are already half sold out which is fantastic.

"We have almost sold out of the tickets we have here and have had to request more.

"Early indications are that it will be a sell-out which is great.

"Let's hope the weather is good for Saturday."
