THE Star in Cayton will be playing host to the John Smith's People's Darts Championships on Sunday.

Registration for the event begins at 3pm, with the competition starting at 3.30pm.

The winner stands a chance of moving through to play in the finals, which are held before the World Championships at Lakeside in December.
