Scarborough RUFC coach Dave Beck aims to end Heath's home run - COMMENT ON THIS STORY

SCARBOROUGH will have to end Heath's unbeaten home run if they are to return to winning ways in Yorkshire League One on Saturday.

Successive defeats against Malton and Sheffield have left Dave Beck's men with an identical record of four wins and four defeats, but Halifax-based Heath's points tally is based on their winning home form.

"We know it will be a tough trip and Heath is a ground where we haven't won for two or three years," admitted Scarborough coach Beck.

"Our last couple of results have been disappointing but the performance against Sheffield was an improvement on the display at Malton.

"We are a fairly young side who are still learning as the season goes on and the players will have learnt from that Malton defeat."

Scarborough make changes from the side who went down at home to Sheffield last weekend.

In the pack, prop Jamie Drayton is unavailable so Paul Taylor takes over, with Tom Fish returning to the bench.

Among the backs, Bill Freeman is unavailable so Simon Dixon plays at scrum-half, while former colt Phil Stewart links up with him at fly-half, giving New Zealander Deina Morete the chance to play in his usual outside-centre slot.

Graeme Jeffrey switches back from centre to his favoured full-back position.

Beck added: "Our defence has been pretty good but I'm still looking for more of a cutting edge in the backs and Deina's move to centre might just give us that."
