ALL the sporting action from across the area was frozen off by an arctic blast at the weekend.
Scarborough Rugby Club’s home game against Pocklington was a victim of the big freeze, though the fixture will now be played at Silver Royd next Saturday.
Each of the Saturday and Sunday League matches were called off because of frozen ground, as was Scarborough Athletic’s trip to Staveley, as well at Bridlington Town and Pickering Town’s home games in the NCEL Premier.
Scarborough Town’s home game against Howden was postponed because McCain Sports was frozen over, while also in the Humber Premier, Scarborough Athletic Reserves’ match at Brandesburton was also called off.
