Scarborough RUFC grab dramatic draw at Yarnbury
A try from Hayden Ogilvie and a touchline conversion from skipper Tom Ratcliffe saw Scarborough earn a 29-29 draw at Yarnbury with the last kick of the game.
Yarnbury started strongly and raced into a 12-0 lead early on, but Scarborough battled back to lead 15-12 at the break.
The hosts looked set to claim the win as they surged into a 29-22 lead but Ogilvie’s late try - his second of the game - in the corner, followed by Ratcliffe’s crucial kick earned Scarborough a share of the spoils.
Tom Chadwick, Ben Martin and Ant Coffey scored the other three tries for the visitors.
