Will power lifts West Pier

WILL Jenkinson helped himself to a brace to help his West Pier side defeat Ayton 6-0 on home soil.

Mark Tucker, Scott Eccles, Luke Midgley and Daz Swinger were also on target for a Pier outfit who led 1-0 early doors thanks to Jenkinson.

Ayton were never in the game and Pier took their chances well.

Pier boss Paddy Parke said: "The lads played well and it was a good team display.

"The finishing was good and we maybe should had scored more."
