Westover Wasps Reserves beat Heslerton to boost third division promotion bid
Westover Wasps Res 3 (Barker, Scales, Buglass) Heslerton 1 (Ryan) Westover are still very much in the promotion hunt following this win against third division title rivals Heslerton.
They were a goal to the good when Sam Barker produced a nice finish following excellent work from Liam Buglass.
Chris Ryan headed an equaliser for Heslerton on the stroke of half-time.
Westover regained the advantage midway through the second half when Tom Scales slotted in and Liam Buglass wrapped things up late on.
Central defender Jon Robinson and goalkeeper Luke Chambers impressed for Dave Gaddass' side.

Forward Mike Barker impressed with a hat-trick as table-toppers Pier ran out worthy winners.
Seamer went ahead after just 25 seconds through Danny Bradbury but once Pier found their feet their was only going to be one winner.
Aaron Rose, Travis Wood, Shaun Buckross, Tom Costigan and 46-year-old midfielder Ray Thorpe were also on target for Paddy Parke's charges.
Thorpe, Rose and Danny Cooper all shone for the winners.

Ganton 3 (J Hepples 2, Pinder)
Improving Ganton picked up their second league win of the campaign.
They went a goal up after 15 minutes when Joe Hepples found the target and it was 2-0 when the same player registered just before the break.
Ganton continued to press and made sure of their win in the 80th minute when midfield ace Sean Pinder, who picked up a foot injury in the game, drove home from 25 yards.
Riskers 3 (Speight, Foley, Forsyth)

Kev Creelman's young Riskers side put on a fine display to claim maximum points.
The game was goalless at the break but Stakesby went ahead early in the second half.
Riskers replied through Rob Speight and were soon 2-1 ahead when 16-year-old Josh Foley hit the target. United made sure when another 16-year-old, Neil Forsyth, scored after coming on as a sub.
Riskers boss Creelman said: "I am really proud of the lads because we had five players missing today and the youngsters were a credit to the club."
Ryedale 6 (Myers 2, Preston, Sherwood, J Brown, og)
Ayton Res 1 (Ward)
Ryedale showed their superiority for much of this match and were 4-0 up at the break.
Mark Myers led the way with two goals, while Luke Preston, John Sherwood, Jay Brown and an own goal capped the win for Ryedale, while Jedd Ward replied for Ayton.
Newlands Res 6 (Chambers 2,Griffiths, W Rowley, Young)
Scalby Res 3
A Sam Chambers double helped Newlands to victory in this high-scoring encounter.
Matty Griffiths, Will Rowley, James Millward and James Young were also on target for the home side.
