Wearside League look for assistant referees
THE Wearside League are on the look-out for local assistant referees following Scarborough Town's inclusion in the set-up.
Wearside referees secretary Kevin Harrison is looking to recruit officials from the area to help out with matches in both Scarborough and Kirkbymoorside.
Harrison said: "We are hoping a few officials from Scarborough would come in and help us out as it will be a good journey for the assistant refs from the north east.
"If anyone is interested then it could well help out with experience if they are interested in moving up the refereeing ladder."
