Karl Drake's late strike sinks Rillington

Tennyson 2 (Midgley, Drake) Rillington 1 (Turnbull) PROMOTION-chasing Tennyson left it late to bag victory in this tight game.

Tennyson went ahead after 20 minutes when Luke Midgley latched onto a long throw and finished.

It was all even at the break as Matty Turnbull equalised for Rillington.

It looked like the game was heading for a draw but with just two minutes left Karl Drake volleyed in Steve Kirkup's superb pass to hand Ryan Chapman's charges the three points.

Westover Wasps 7 (Hannam 2, Varley 2, Joe Cairns, Watson, Locke) Star2b 1

Leaders Westover continued their title push with a comfortable home win.

Chris Hannam and Daz Varley both hit a brace each for Chris Townsend's troops while Joe Cairns, Justin Watson and Danny Locke were also on target.

Westover were 5-0 up at the break and their best goal of the game was Cairns' left-foot volley from the edge of the box.

Cayton Cors Res 7 (Sands 2, Andrews 2, Barber, North, Stubbs)

Filey T Res 2 (Jenkinson, Micklethwaite)

Cayton had to come back from a 1-0 half-time deficit to get the victory.

Josh Sands netted a brace for the home side as did Dean Andrews while Lee Barber, Scott North and Si Stubbs also hit the back of the net.

Midfielder Aiden Welbourne was named as Cayton's man of the match.

Hull Uni SC 1 (Oshin)

Snainton 4 (Wilson 2, Corney, Bowling)

Despite an effort from Olusegen Oshin the home side were never really in charge of this game.

Snainton's James Wilson scored twice, with veteran Rob Corney and Neil Bowling also on target.

Hull Uni boss Jon Hill said: "We did okay and Olusegen took his chance well but they were the better side."

FC Rosette v Eastfield Res - postponed due to waterlogged pitch.
