Boro sorry for Kemp incident
SCARBOROUGH Athletic defender Dave Kemp could be in hot water after an incident during the club’s 2-0 defeat at Winterton Rangers on Saturday.
After receiving a red card for a foul in the second half, Kemp proceeded to kick through a door on his return to the dressing room.
Boro have already apologised to the Lincolnshire club and have agreed to pay any costs for the door, but the incident certainly hasn’t pleased chairman Dave Holland.
Holland said: “We have apologised as a club and if there is a cost we will definitely pay it.
“It is something that we will be dealing with internally, the discipline will be down to the manager.

“We will have to see whether we decide to shunt the costs onto the player or what other options we will take.
“I am disappointed by Dave Kemp’s reaction to being sent off.
“He is paid to play football for Scarborough Athletic and the fact that he totally lost control isn’t great.
“We do expect more self control than that. He is Scarborough through and through though, which could be why he got so frustrated.”
