Coach Mitch Cook praises Town's Charity Cup control
SCARBOROUGH Town coach Mitch Cook praised his side's control of the game after they defeated Jarrow 3-0 away from home in the quarter-finals of the Shipowners Charity Cup.
All the goals came in the second half for Town thanks to Joel Ramm, Josh Greening and sub Billy Logan.
Cook said: "I was delighted with how we controlled the game and I don't think Jarrow even had a shot on target until the 92nd minute.
"We played well through the side and that was started at the back where the likes of Dean Craig were superb."
Jarrow ended the game with just nine players on the field after two dismissals.
Cook added: "They did some silly things but we never got involved which was also good to see.
"Even in the first half we were on top and we turned our possession into goals in the second half.
"I was pleased for Billy Logan to come on and get himself a goal and all the lads deserve credit for their efforts."
