Captain's weekend is a huge success

NORTH Cliff Golf Club's Captain Chris Stanley staged his weekend, and despite the threat of fog it was a resounding success.

There were Junior and Mixed competitions on Saturday and the main event – the Gentlemans Medal competition on Sunday.

The winners on Saturday were; Juniors - Lewis Taylor and in the Mixed - Steve and Clare Pybus .

On Sunday the winners were; division one - Ian Houseman, division two - Dave Trenham, Past Captain – Derrick Arden, Best Gross – Steve Pybus with the main Captains prize going to Alan Richardson with a great score of 64 nett.

Stanley is holding his presentation evening on July 11 where the family connection will continue with son Mark’s band Great Urge entertaining the winners and followers and a barbecue to round the whole thing off.
