Basketball fun for Seahawks

Scarborough Seahawks under-16 boys and Seahawks Senior men will be hosting an invitational tournament on Saturday at George Pindar Community Sports Centre.

The under-16s are playing National League again this year,so the tournament is an ideal opportunity to put pre-season training into practice.

The men's team will be playing various friendlies against Yorkshire League opposition this season, building on their success in the recent Humberside Central Venue Leagues based in Bishop Burton.

It is hoped that when the under-16s play a home game, the senior men will also have a fixture; to encourage all club members and spectators to enjoy a whole afternoon of baseketball.

Any home fixtures will be 3pm and 5pm on Sundays.

The under-16s campaign begins on October 2 with an away fixture against Bradford college Dragons.
