HUNMANBY Hornets edged a nine-goal division three thriller against Victoria.
Hornets didn’t look back after Jon Hyde fired them ahead just 24 seconds into the game. Andy Ball and Cameron Dobson then put them 3-0 up.

Chris Ryan pulled a goal back before Dave Wedge restored the three-goal cushion.

Ryan completed his hat-trick to boost Victoria’s hopes at 4-3, but Danny Baldry soon made it five for Hornets.

Chris Boustead gave Vic some hope with their fourth and Alex Dale missed the chance to level late on.

Sam Cook and Ricky Tomlinson were both in top form for Hunmanby

Heslerton charged to only their second win of the season when they hammered nine-man Weaponness Park 10-0, with two goals each from Simon Coupland and James McLoughlin.

Sixteen-year-old Kieran Hodgson hit his first of the season, with further strikes coming from Dan Agus, Wayne Moon, Marc Craig, Gareth Driver and Curtis Drummond.

United Sports moved up to third in the table after their 4-1 win against B & C Riskers.

Paul Shepherd’s penalty put Sports ahead but Luke Delve equalised before the break.

Sports added goals through Dane Ramos, George Rose and Mikey Hartnett. Rose in midfield and Ramos in attack were superb for the victors.
