SNAINTON earned the title with a 96-run home win against Ganton in the only game played in this division.
This result also relegated Ganton, who have now completed their league fixtures.

Jason Oakley was in top form once again for the hosts, his 55 helping Snainton post 162-9, with all-rounder Leigh Watson adding a useful 46.

Rob Gretton, 3-30, and Bob Carver, 5-46, did their best to keep Ganton in the match.

In reply Simon Ridley hit 21, but Paul Kinghorn’s magnificent seven-wicket haul brought the visitors crashing to 66 all out.

Watson capped a fine all-round game with figures of 3-13.

The other promotion spot in this division will be decided on saturday, when third-placed Settrington travel to second-placed Ryedale, the winners joining Snainton in division A.
