South Cliff's Dockray Trophy, a greensome medal, saw past captain Alan Smith and Paul Dack take the honours with a 74 gross, 67 nett.
They beat Chris Scott and Ronnie Jaconelli into second place, after that duo had a nett 68.

South Cliff also hosted the annual open pairs tournament sponsored by Tony Skingle.

The event attracted more than 210 competitors from all parts of the country, but local knowlege proved vital as South Cliff pairs took the major prizes.

Victorious on the day were Gary Thirkell (5) and Alan Smith (9), with a superb 45 points, edging out Shaun Smith (1) and Simon Deaves (6) on a back nine countback.
