SCARBOROUGH Pirates face a crunch league clash at Thorne Marauders tomorrow.
The Eastway-based side need a win to stand any chance of making it into the play-offs. Having lost 40-28 at York last week the Pirates will have to improve if they are to get a win at fellow promotion hopefuls Thorne.

Pirates club official Dave Marsden said: “It is a massive game for us and we really have to win if we want top get into the play-offs.

“The York result was disappointing but the lads put in a spirited display so we have to take that into the game against Thorne.”

Pirates have injury doubts over Kev Ash and Keith Paddock who are both suffering with niggling injuries.
