Graham School take charge in county table tennis qualifiers

SEVERAL Graham School teams were on top form when reaching the North Yorkshire Table Tennis finals after starring at the Scarborough and Ryedale Sports Partnership qualifying event.
Graham boys and girls will fly the flag at both under-13 and under-16 level at the county finals which will be held on Tuesday, December 1 at the Graham School Centre.

In the under-11s, Newby go through to represent the boys and Gladstone Road the girls.

Primary School boys U11s round-robin league: Gladstone Rd 1 Newby B 3; Newby A 4 Helmsley 0; Newby A 3 Newby B 1; Helmsley 0 Gladstone Rd 4; Newby A 3 Gladstone Rd 1; Helmsley 0 Newby B 4. Newby qualify.

Girls U11s: only one entry - Gladstone Road qualify.

Secondary Schools Boys U13s: Graham 4 Raincliffe 0; Raincliffe 1 Ryedale 3; Ryedale 1 Graham 3. Graham qualify.

Girls U13s: (two entries) final, Graham 4 Ryedale 4. Graham qualify.

Boys U16s round-robin league: Ryedale A 3 Pindar 5; Graham 6 Ryedale B 2; Ryedale A 1 Ryedale B 7; Pindar 0 Graham 8; Pindar 1 Ryedale B 7; Ryedale A 0 Graham 8. Graham qualify.

Girls U16s: only one entry - Graham qualify.
