THE Scarborough and District League representative match against their York rivals was postponed last night.
The game was due to be played at Pickering Town but the Mill Lane pitch was unplayable due to the inclement weather.

Pikes chairman Tony Dunning said: “There was a lot of standing water on the pitch and parts were also frozen so we had to call it off.”

Tuesday April 3 has been pencilled in as a new date for the game also at Pickering’s Mill Lane ground.

Pickering will be hoping their Northern Counties East premier division clash at Carlton goes ahead on Saturday as they aim to bounce back from a midweek 3-1 defeat at Staveley Minors Welfare in the League Cup quarter-finals.
