DIARY DATE for members of Scarborough Indoor Bowling Club who wish to bowl in the autumn leagues starting in September: teams must be registered at the bowls centre on Sundays August 17 or 31 and the registration fees paid for all players.
The first of these dates is the club’s first open day when the doors will be thrown open to passers-by and invited guests to sample what is on offer.

Wendy Campion and helpers would welcome more volunteers to assist on the day by manning stalls, baking cakes or providing books and bric-a-brac for sale.
