There is no way the people of North Yorkshire should allow this. If ever you felt like protesting now is the time. If you do nothing it is the thin end of the wedge and eventually there will be no health service at all. Remember the poll tax, it can be done.

This is too much for this region to bare, how can a hospital run efficently when 1/3rd of the staff is leaving. Only the other week a hig ranking member of staff got a 1million golden handshake. This is result of poor managment and lack of funding by this government, and now many staff will loose there jobs, and the people of Scarborough will have a 2nd rate hospitals, its disgusting.

How on earth can a hospital afford to lose a third of it's staff and still say it can operate? If it doesn't need the 600 staff, what on earth are they doing right now?? Of course the hospital needs them, otherwise it wouldn't have employed them. It's a disgraceful situation for the population of Scarborough and District to have to face. Hopefully they will see sense and retract this stupid decision. The NHS is supposed to be getting better, not worse.

Yet again are we made to feel undervalued by the top people at the trust. The sad thing is, that due to the demoralisation that has taken place, many of the staff, that are valued members of certain clnical teams, will feel the need to get out before we are made too, and will go and work elsewhere. They say clinical areas will not suffer, i will believe it when i see it!

The people of the region deserve far better. How can this decision not affect patient care? It is also disasterous for the staff working within the affected services. No doubt they will be expected to shoulder extra work and responsibilities for the usual no thanks at all.

Will we fight for our hospital or will we just be another Scarborian saying and doing nothing ? come on let's do something lets all stand together and say no. It's our hospital and we want it to be as good as it is now,Sad to say but what is £20,000,000 in the scheme of things, when terrorists legal teams cost more than that.
