WATCH: Snow falls on North York Moors as Met Office issues yellow weather warning

The weather warning came into force at 9.42am and remains in place until 6pm this evening.
Snow is falling across the North York Moors with some roads becoming covered and drivers advised to take extra care in the conditions.

Hide AdSouthward-moving areas of sleet and snow are likely to give 2-5cm snow over higher ground above 200-300m whilst at lower levels snow accumulations will be smaller and patchier in nature with 1-2cm snow for some.
Where snow falls, expect slippery pavements and tricky driving conditions."
