Writer gives tips for success

INTERNATIONALLY acclaim- ed Scarborough author Bill Kitson is set to pass on the secrets of his success to budding writers in the town.

Mr Kitson, 65, whose debut novel Depth of Despair forced publishers into an urgent reprint, will be giving the talk entitled Killing Time, during Scarborough’s Literary Festival.

The talk will feature readings from his books, including his latest thriller Chosen, and there will also be a discussion on his writing skills.

The event takes place on Tuesday April 13 at Scalby Library in Vernon Road from 7pm and tickets are available by calling 0845 0349 515.
