Woman found dead in Malton
POLICE are investigating the death of a woman who was found unconscious outside her home in Barton-le-Street near Malton.
Amanda Jane Buswell, 42, was discovered at about 11.40am on Saturday.
She was taken to Scarborough Hospital but was pronounced dead at 2.05pm.
A post mortem examination is being carried out and an inquest will be opened and adjourned in due course.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, but police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death on behalf of the coroner.
