Special day of prayer

THERE will be a special church service in Scarborough next month to celebrate Women’s World Day of Prayer.

It will be at the Church of St Martin-on-the-Hill in South Cliff on Friday, March 2, from 10.30am.

The speaker will be the Rev Samantha Foster and members of St Martin’s CE Primary School Choir will be singing at the service.

Scarborough’s mayor and mayoress, Cllr John Blackburn and Jackie Blackburn, are also due to attend the service.

All are welcome.
