Scott Winton wins Pub Idol
Scott Winton became the winner of Scarborough's Got Talent last night after reaching the final two, along with the popular Carly Zoeller.
The two beat off stiff competition from the the other finalists, Aimee Jones and Siobann Walshe who both performed brilliantly on the night and were tied on points after the judges scores were counted.
The decision was then left to the public who were able to cast their vote for their favourite act via text. After the final sing off between Scott and Carly over 400 votes were received with Scott slightly edging it to take the Pub Idol crown.
Carly Zoeller sang her heart out, whipping the crowd into a frenzy with her powerful voice but eventually Scott's note perfect vocal skills won the day with passionate renditions of Bon Jovi's song 'Bed of roses' and the Boys II Men classic 'I swear'.
