Scarborough hoax fire calls: do you recognise the voice? COMMENT ON THIS STORY

Scarborough firefighters are determined to crackdown on malicious callers.

The Evening News has posted two recordings of hoax calls on the its website in a bid to catch the culprits.

Firefighters hope either readers or website visitors can recognise the idiotic timewasters who put lives at risk.

In one of the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service recordings, a young voice can clearly be heard saying there is a fire at the railway station before hanging up.

The second call is from someone who sounds older and claims there is a bin on fire at the junction between Fairfield Crescent and Fieldstead Crescent.

On both occasions the claims were false and vital resources were diverted from real emergencies.

Do you recognise either of the two callers featured? You can follow the links below to listen to the recordings.
