Scarborough roadworks

MOTORISTS are being warned to expect minor disruption from today in the Cross Lane area of Scarborough.

The warning has come from Scarborough Council because the road needs to be resurfaced.

The project is expected to take two days to complete and should be finished by the end of tomorrow.

Similar work has also been carried out by council staff in Holbeck Hill which is also due to be completed tomorrow.

There will also be minor disruption in North marine Road until Sunday while Carillion lay a new main and work to repair a gas leak in Westborough, by Northern Gas Networks, is due to end tomorrow.

Northern Electric will be carrying out excavation work in Moor Lane and Pindar Road until Sunday and Yorkshire Water is carrying out installation work Durham Street from today, and Durham Place from tomorrow, with both projects due to run until Sunday.
