Santa's in the 'hood
SANTA will be touring the town as part of Scarborough Round Table's annual sleigh pull.
The event, which takes place in the first two weeks of December, aims to raise cash for local charities.
Last year the sleigh pull raised thousands of pounds which was shared between 20 good causes including play groups, swimming clubs and scouts groups.
Ben Kitto, charity officer, said: “We normally raise between 3,000 and 4,000 each year, so we’ve got our fingers crossed it will be the same this year.
“The sleigh pull has been going on for the last 40 years or so. It’s a fantastic event – the kids love it and a lot of adults do too!”
Santa and his helpers will set off at 6.30pm each night.
