RSPCA appeal for ferret owner

HAVE you lost a pet ferret?

A cheeky ferret was seen scuttling through gardens in a Scarborough street before being rescued by the RSPCA.

The animal was spotted by Christine Cooper, of Overdale, Eastfield, whose husband, Alan, keeps ferrets.

She said: “A neighbour told me there was a ferret running around in their garden, but our two were still there. I saw it run out into the road in front of a bus, which stopped just in time.

“I heard later that it had reappeared in my neighbour’s garden.”

If you think the animal could be yours, please contact the RSPCA on 0870 5555999.
