Red phone boxes saved by council - COMMENT ON THIS STORY
LITTLE-USED red phone boxes in Scarborough have been saved after councillors backed a motion to keep them up and running.
BT offered to sell the boxes to local authorities for just 1, with the authority then contributing towards their upkeep.
