Rail works on the way

MAJOR work will be carried out in October by Network Rail to replace track and signals in the Scarborough area.

Additional upgrade work on the line between York and Scarborough will also take place during this period.

First TransPennine Express will operate a revised timetable between York and Scarborough for the duration of these works.

Details are as follows:

October 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17 and from October 25 to 29: Rail services will terminate at and start from Malton.

Rail Replacement bus services will operate between Malton, Seamer and Scarborough.

October 11 to 15 and October 18 to 22: Rail services will terminate at / start from Seamer.

Rail Replacement bus services will operate between Seamer and Scarborough.

October 23, 24, 30 and 31: All services replaced by buses between York, Malton, Seamer and Scarborough.

Northern Rail services between Scarborough and Hull will also be affected by these works.
