Premiere for Kingsley's I.R.A. film
SIR BEN Kingsley's latest film has been premiered at the Toronto Film Festival – amid controversy.
The Snainton-born actor stars with Rose McGowan in Fifty Dead Men Walking, based on a book by IRA informer Martin McGartland. Sir Ben, who was awarded an honorary degree from Hull University Scarborough campus earlier this year, plays the undercover agent.
McGowan hit the headlines across the world after she made statements about the IRA at the premiere in Canada.
