Plea over stolen moped

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of a moped in the town.

The red and black Speedfighter was stolen from outside a house in Alexandra Park between 10pm on Sunday and 12.30pm on Monday.

Anyone who can help officers with this enquiries is asked to contact Scarborough police on 101. Press option 2 and ask for Leanne Anderson.

Why the big deal about a scooter theft? The Police here don;t usually bother so much. Was it owned by one of their friends or relations perhaps? Sorry if I sound so cynical about our local police, but most folks in Scarborough are these days!
