Passengers give service top marks
SCARBOROUGH Dial a Ride is celebrating some excellent results from its recent passenger survey.
The charity, which runs a minibus service to help people get out and about, handed out 224 questionnaires to passengers and 171 were returned - a response rate of overt 76 per cent.
Results show that 84 per cent of passengers rated the service as "excellent" and 15 per cent rated it as "good".
Comments included: "Very good service - lovely staff"; "I appreciate the trouble taken in fitting in journeys to fit my needs" and "Everyone is very helpful and all love working for Dial A Ride, which creates a wonderful spirit."
Manager Julie Banks said: "It's really nice that people took the time to fill the questionnaire in and we're very pleased with the results."
Mrs Banks added that Dial a Ride is currently looking for volunteers, both passenger escorts and drivers.
