Inquest opening on Scarborough woman found dead
AN INQUEST into the death of a woman in Scarborough has been opened.
The discovery at Royal Avenue was made on Tuesday but police only confirmed yesterday that officers made the discovery.
A North Yorkshire police spokesman said: "We attended the property at approximately 3.30pm following reports of a sudden death. On arrival a body of a woman was found. There are no suspicious circumstances and police are not seeking anybody else in connection with the death."
The spokesman added that the inquest was opened and adjourned yesterday.
