Improvement work on Scarborough town-centre paths

PEDESTRIANS in Newborough, Scarborough, faced a minor detour while work to improve the footpath was carried out.

The work is part of planned improvements to the footpath from Queen Street to St Thomas Street, and Scarborough Council's technical services manager Bruce Bedford said it involved the removal and replacement of the paving.
