Hit and run inquiries
POLICE are hunting the driver of a light coloured hatchback which was involved in a "hit and run" accident with a cyclist in Seamer Road.
The cyclist suffered head injuries as a result of Wednesday's crash on the A64, near to the junction with B&Q, but was later discharged from hospital.
A Scarborough Police spokeswoman said: "Police are trying to trace the driver of the vehicle involved and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or can provide any details to assist with the investigation." Anyone with information should contact TC899 Long on 0845 6060247.
