I have a few points that I feel may need to be clarified regarding previous posts. Firstly I'd like to say that I have the highest regard for our local Fire Service. a)Whats a fire squirter outer???? I was not aware that 5 year olds should could type so poorly. If your going to try and insult our hard working emergency services I suggest letting your kids type the comments. b)Why should a guy who works 30 years in a physically demanding job where peak physical fitness is paramount be expected to work til 65? Would you want rescuing from a burning building by someone whos back may go because hes an O.A.P??? I know my wife and I would not! c) If there is a problem regarding drunk people on murchison street, perhaps instead of being pathetic and saying stuff on here take your complaint to the fire station instead of poorly attempting to cause trouble, or just accept that you live in a poor area of Scarborough. So as I have pointed out I feel so sorry for the poor fire fighters who have to put up with these narrow minded attitudes of a minority who would gladly accept their help if they needed it and then spit on them as soon as their backs were turned. Bearing in mind that they work hard, train to keep themselves good at what they do, fit smoke alarms (like in my home) and generally do a fantastic job, it is awful to see these pathetic comments.

So is this guy who is retiring 65, like people in other occupations (soon to include women) now have to be? Or do fire squirter outers get to retire earlier for some strange reason?

If anyone on Murchison street found they had a damaged car on New Years Eve see one of the firemen in this picture who was riding his bike so drunk he could not even stand let alone ride. He bumped and clattered into several cars in the area as he fumbled his way up the road trying to ride. If your in a position like this job then your actions are still on show when you clock out from work!!!
