Doddy planning his escape during show!
A SCARBOROUGH escapologist will perform alongside comedy legend Ken Dodd at the Futurist on Saturday.
Daniel Hunt and his partner Annette Claire, also known as Amethyst International Illusionists, will appear in Ken's Happiness Show.
The pair, from Scarborough, were invited to tour with Ken last year after he saw them perform at a magic event in Blackpool.
Since then they have performed with Ken in shows across the UK at various theatres and venues.
Daniel, originally from County Dur-ham, said he used to visit Scarborough as a child and first saw Ken at the Futurist when he was eight-years-old.
Annette, who was born and raised in Scarborough, performed in several pantomines and music hall shows at the Futurist.
She said: "We are delighted to be performing in Scarborough with Ken. The Futurist is a place close to our hearts and it will be an honour to be on stage there with him.
"Ken is a fantastic guy and we both love performing with him."
Daniel and Annette perform their magic and illusion show at venues across the country and have worked for companies including Butlins and P&O.
