Charity night is in fashion
FUNDRAISERS are looking forward to an evening of chic designer wear at a charity fashion night.
Representatives of Scarborough Fundraising Group for Marie Curie Cancer Care met with organisers at the The Upper Circle, Opera House Casino, to launch the event, which takes place on March 7.
They are hoping to repeat the success of last year’s event, which raised about £2,000 for the local Marie Curie Nursing Service.
Cheryl Barrett, area fundraising manager for Marie Curie, said: “We are very much looking forward to a magnificent night of chic, elegant outfits for that special occasion and urge local ladies to join us for the fashion highlight of the year.
“Our grateful thanks go to everyone who is supporting the fashion show.”
Creations will be provided by fashion house Cosmetique in St Nicholas Street, with head wear from Get Ahead Hats.
