We should move Freddie

RE: OUR Freddie.

I am so pleased how your readers are still, like me, thinking that he should be moved away from his present position. He will rust away and no-one will want to trail all the way down to visit him.

The suggestion of Merchants Row is brilliant, he can still see the sea, but is safe.

Why not state several places and let the public of Scarborough vote on it, and the final decision to be made by Mrs Robinson.

Freddie is lovely, let’s not lose him to the sea, the elements and vandals.
