Rescue it!

RE: OPEN Air Theatre debacle.

It started out as a novelty, crowds were decent, then when the honeymoon period was over reality paid a visit.

Doves, the Madness cancellation, Ellie Goulding, N-Dubz, half of the events or proposed events have been farcical. Elton rescued it last summer, but we should face facts, that was a rarity.

I can sense another blackspot to join the past depression of the Watersplash, Mr Marvels, Scarborough FC, endless promises of cinemas and other facilities. At least Poundstretcher is on its way.

Sorry folks SCARBOROUGH IS NOW SHUT. The monkeys in St Nicolas Street have decided that they should receive their salaries for doing absolutely nothing. Nothing has changed since the 1950's.
