Excuse was just rubbish
A FORTNIGHT ago I was taken very ill in the early hours of the morning and my mum needed to call the doctor out.
With the ensuing problems this caused, the bin was not taken down to be emptied. This week with black bags as well we waited for the bin men to take the bags, which they didn’t.
When asked why, they had been told by their boss not to take extra rubbish as they had taken extra over Christmas.
Only Scarborough Council could come up with such mind-numbingly childish stupidity. They will sit outside until they are taken away, which they will end up doing anyway.
Question is why couldn’t they do what they are paid to do in the first place – take rubbish away.
