Carry on caravanning

IN THE Evening News on February 2 (parking protest, page three). Cllr Popple states that Scarborough is being developed as an all year round resort.

If that is correct, why is the caravan and camping club site in Field Lane only allowed to open from April to November?

The caravan site at Filey Country Park was full over the Christmas period. Is Scarborough missing the boat? Caravanners do it all year round.
