Letter: Cul-de-sac grass verge is churned up
Further to your articles on the terrible eyesores of the grass verges:
A 25ft wagon came up the avenue by mistake - could not turn in the turning point, so backed down the road - taking the street lamp outside our house with it.
We have now been without a street light for seven weeks.
All the verges in the street are churned up. Our avenue is a cul-de-sac which drivers ignore although it says on the street name - no through road!
